It’s no coincidence that we’re meeting here.

I’ve been down a similar path to many solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, and small business owners:

Writing Career

started in “corporate work” (public school teaching feels pretty corporate nowadays, so I’m counting it)

 ↓

left that world (to stay home with my babies)

↓

forged a new path in entrepreneurship and opened a small, non-profit school

 ↓

carved out my solopreneurship career…on my own terms

Talk to most small business owners and you’ll get a story to a similar tune.

 Look at it this way:

Your small business needs sales to be profitable. →

In order to make sales, people need to know you exist. →

For people to know you exist nowadays, you’ll need a website. →

Your website will need traffic. →

That traffic will have to be convinced that your goods and services are worth their cold, hard cash. →

If they’re going to be convinced to part with their money, you’ll need compelling website words. →

And that brings you to me…

Hey!

I’m Cambrya, and this whole copywriter-for-entrepreneurs thing all started because I couldn’t quite fit the mold that public education wanted me to be.

I think that’s why a lot of small business owners do what they do…because they’re too passionate about their work to compromise their ideals.

And so we meet.

I love a good breaking-the-status-quo and making-a-way-story. Those innovators and doers are the people I’m out to help:

→ entrepreneurs

→ the work-from-home parents

→ the homeschooling-while-running-a-business families

→ the freelance crowd

→ the I’m-doing-business-on-my-terms people

→ solopreneurs

→ brick-and-mortar small business owners

You are my kind of people. And I believe that communicating who you are and what you do clearly can be the make-it-or-break-it to a successful business.

Beyond her professionalism and amazing talent, Cam was prompt with getting the copy to me when I needed (and I gave her a fairly short deadline, my bad), and she is so incredibly sweet. Finding Cam was a win for my business.

Sure, you can shortcut your way around getting a website for a while if you want…Social media accounts, word of mouth, online marketplaces, etc. But eventually - if you truly want to scale a successful business - you’ll need a bonafide website of your own.

And the first step to creating a new business website? Writing the words.

It’s true, a beautifully designed website can wow a site visitor. But what gets your readers to open their wallets?

persuasive and strategic website words

We’re not at all talking about tricks, gimmicks, and “gotchas.” We’re talking about putting well-written copy in front of an interested audience. We’re talking about highlighting the value and benefits that your small business has to offer. We’re talking about connecting potential customers and clients with their wants and needs.
